WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
This workshop outlines concepts of a fundraising culture within a non-profit organization. We will discuss roles and responsibilities of volunteers and board members and how to best utilize their skills. Additionally, we will discuss achieving fundraising goals both in the Boardroom and throughout the organization. Participants will walk away with collaborative strategies to expand an organization’s donor baseas well as examine and dissect the current fundraising practices within your organization. Additionally, participants will learn effective strategies for fundraising, donor stewardship, and community engagement.
What The Training Will Cover
- Define the concept of a fundraising culture within a non-profit organization and articulate its significance in achieving fundraising goals both in the Boardroom and throughout the organization.
- Identify the roles and responsibilities of board members and volunteers in fundraising activities, including setting expectations, cultivating donor relationships, and organizing fundraising events.
- Develop collaborative strategies for leveraging board networks, volunteer committees, and community partnerships to expand the organization’s donor base and secure financial support.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of existing fundraising practices within the boardroom and volunteer committees, proposing actionable recommendations for enhancing fundraising efforts and fostering a culture of philanthropy across all levels of the organization.
